Adult Mandarin Lesson and Conversation Course
Beginners- Adult small classes of 4 students :
- September 17 to November 12, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Monday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- September 18 to November 13, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- September 19 to November 14, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- September 20 to November 15, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Thursday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- September 22 to November 17, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Saturday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- September 23 to November 18, 2018, Lessons once per week, 2 hrs/lesson: Sunday 6:30pm-8:30pm; $300(all inclusive with a textbook and 2 CDs) for 20 hours in 10 weeks.
- If you are occassionally absent from the classes, a recorded video lesson will be provided to you so that you'll be able to review and study at your own time.
- Do I offer courses of higher levels? Yes, after having finished level one, you may continue with a higher level.
Private Lesson
Conversational Mandarin:
The course composes of 4 levels; duration of each level is 10 weeks.
The course covers essential expressions of daily conversation. Students will start with basic language skills including learning Mandarin phonetic alphabet, practising pronunciation of the four tones of Mandarin, Chinese grammar and sentences patterns. The course provides oral practice related to scenario-based conversations. Step by step, student will get familiar with sentences patterns, grammar rules and develop fluency and accuracy in oral expression.
Audio files and exercises will be provided.
Mandarin course of academic approach:
The course is for learners who wish to set for examination OR in preparation of study of Chinese in university OR those who would like to master the language in a holistic approach.
I use New Practical Chinese Reader as textbook which is compiled under the guidance of National Office For Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language and is in line with HSK ( The Chinese Proficiency Test ) guideline. It consists of seventy lessons in six volumes, covering beginning to intermediate levels for three years of instruction.
Supplimentary materials such as articles of modern literature, simple classical poems, articles on newspaper or online news swill also be included for studying.
